The proper name of the webcam software is Live Central it seems! The weirdest thing is the file download says 'Dell Webcam Central' but after install it is under 'All Programs'\'Live! Central'. This link is no longer in use for this download for one and not for Alienware.
After installing if it does not see your camera just go to device manager uninstall the webcam and then rescan and all will be wellĭownload Dell Webcam Central Here!. This says it's for a monitor webcam but guess what? It is the same program that was originally on my M14x and works great. I updated the firmware from Dell support, a driver is not needed for Win 7 has this already.
